Who we are
Trippy is a group trip planning service. This policy explains what we collect when you use the app and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, contact us at the address at the bottom of this page.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address, display name and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile Google shares with us.
- Trip content — trips you create or join, itinerary items, links, polls and votes, chat messages and crew lists.
- Photos and media — cover images, mood board pictures, outfit photos and any other files you upload.
- Technical data — basic logs needed to keep the service running and secure.
How we use it
We use your information only to run Trippy: to sign you in, show your trips to the people you invited, keep everyone's changes in sync, and protect the service from abuse. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see your content
Private trips are visible only to people you invite. If you mark a trip public, anyone with the link can view it. Photos and files you upload are shared with the members of that trip. Your display name and avatar are visible to people you share a trip with.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to host the app, store data and files, send account emails and handle Google sign-in. They process data on our instructions only.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your content while your account is active. You can delete individual items at any time, and you can delete your whole account from your account settings — this removes your profile, your trips and the files you uploaded. Backups are cleared on a rolling basis shortly afterwards.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Trippy is not intended for anyone under 13.
Changes and contact
If we make a meaningful change to this policy we will let you know in the app. Questions or requests: privacy@yourdomain.com.
